101 in 1001

101 in 1001 Days is something I saw on another blog once probably almost 2 years ago. That mom had made a list of 101 Things she wanted to accomplish in 1001 Days and separated them into different categories. She then had 1001 Days with which to finish all 101 Items on her list. I wish I still had the link to the blog because I would pass it along here so that you might see what her’s were set up like; assuming of course that she still had either the old list or a new list up on her blog. While I can’t find her blog, I’ve been working on my own list but I’m pretty sure that it’s too long at this point (I haven’t written it out completely yet so I’m not sure) so it may take me a few days to get it just the way I want it, again. Once I have it all figured out I’ll post it here. Basically, I choose 101 things I either want to do, want to change about myself or want to change about my life and I put them all in a list. You can put them into sections with titles, or not, whatever works best for you. Then pick a start date, which for me was Saturday, January 1, 2011. And pick a finish date, which for me is Saturday, September 28, 2013. Now between the start date and end date you work your butt off to accomplish as many of your 101 items as humanly possible. Sounds like fun doesn’t it? Here are the details of my list.

☆☆☆☆☆Update ~ Mid-January 2011☆☆☆☆☆ My list is finished and I’ve found my icons to represent the 3 stages of 101 Things. I was trying to find plain ole icons that appealed to me but found that I was having a difficult time. Then I finally stumbled across some icons that were absolutely perfect for me! I love The Office on NBC! And I just love these little guys!

☆☆☆☆☆Update ~ Wednesday, January 26, 2011☆☆☆☆☆ Updated my list. I deleted a few items. Added a few in their place. Changed the icons on the necessary items. Changed the font on necessary items as well.

☆☆☆☆☆Update ~ Saturday, November 26, 2011☆☆☆☆☆ Updated my list. I put a few more items ‘on hold’ but I have a feeling that they will wind up ‘on hold’ indefinitely so I’m probably just going to have to come up with replacements. Updated my book list (#025) since I’ve been flying through books like a woman possessed lately.

☆☆☆☆☆Update ~ Friday, December 9, 2011☆☆☆☆☆ Updated my list – again. I just decided to replace nearly all of ‘on hold” items because they were religion based. After what happened with Elliott Richard’s Pre-School (I know who was involved and how. I’m not stupid, despite what they obviously think of me.) and the way Father treated both us and the situation as a whole. So I made the difficult and important decision to simply replace the ‘religion based’ 101′s so that I have a chance at actually meeting as many of my 101 as possible.

Stage 1: Completely Unfinished {I probably haven’t even started it yet.}  (Introducing, Michael Scott. Manager Extrodonairre and Master Screw-Off.)

Stage 2: In the Works {I may have started and made some progress but nothing more.}  (Jim Halpert, Salesman Supreme and Master of Disaster, Pranks and General Entertainment.)

Stage 3: All done! {I’ve worked my tushy off and now I’m finished! Yippee!}  (Pam Halpert, Jim’s Wife, Partner-in-Crime and the Positive Axis of Power for the 3)
