“Voice4u” Autism Software Give-a-way!!!

Drawing begins: Wednesday, January 26th @ 8:00pm
Drawing ends: Thursday, January 27th @ 5:00pm
Winner announced: Thursday, January 27th @ 5:30pm
So here’s the skinny, I received a copy of Voice4U (from the developer) to give away to one of my readers. This version is designed for Apple iPod/iPhone or iPad. Rob and I own this program for Android and it is AMAZING! While it’s intended use is with Autistic children, it could probably be used with children of other diagnoses but similar speech and language difficulties.
Voice4u comes with icons for common items, emotions, people, places and things etc and the audio titles for each. You are then free to add, delete, take your own pictures of items and add your own voice overs to assist in learning the names.
For example, it’s been a saving grace for us in terms of working with Emmett John and attempting to figure out which item, specifically, he wants out of our cereal/snack cabinet. Rather than standing there and pointing. Plus, he loves to hear Rob’s voice and look at the pictures of familiar items, which again are catered to him and his diet – removing those things he is not permitted to have.
So, if you would like a chance to win this amazing program all you need to do is leave ONE COMMENT/PERSON (multiple comments by the same person will not be considered) on this post stating one thing you did not previously know about Autism Spectrum Disorders. Your comment must be left by Thursday, January 27th at 5:00pm! I will then use a Random Number Generator to choose the winning commenter and post the winner here at 5:30pm Thursday, January 27th. Be sure to check back tomorrow at 5:30pm to see who won!
I am really excited about this give-a-way! I hope you guys all have as much fun as I hope to!
Good luck!
(RULE RECAP:
- One entry per person.)

I did not preciously know that autism is not genetic.
I didn't know that it's possible for some ppl with autism to be bipolar or schizophrenic. I started to look into this when I found my son would hide in a closet and talk to himself, mostly its repeating phrases he's been told, to correct himself when he has done an unwanted behavior. He also walks away and repeats what he did and what he should do to fix a situation. However, I've been told that for him it is simply a calming self-therapy that works for him. Each autistic person is an individual.
I think this is an awesome give-away !
